Hurricane Bill passed by us early Sunday morning, luckily for the most part we only received rain and small amount of wind, but the seas were fabulous! We drove around for about 4 hours here and there along the coast and each spot we went the waves got better and better. It was hard to pick my favorite photos!! What made the waves so great was that it was high tide as well.
It looks beautiful, but scary at the same time! What wonderful pictures. I'm glad everyone survived, plus enjoyed some dramatic scenery. Wow! -Tammy
ReplyDeleteMemories for us, that's for sure! We lost our home to Hurricane Frances in 2004, while living in south Florida. Hurricanes are fascinating to me. If I had to chhose between tornado and huuricane, hurricane wins. At least you know it's coming and have time to pack keepsakes etc.And find proper shelter if needed.
